Adam Pflaumer has over 15 years experience in the merchant credit card processing industry. He began his merchant payment industry career in 1993. Adam has held sales and management positions for the most reputable firms in the merchant card acquiring industry including First Data, Union Bank of California, Global Payments and most recently Connect Merchant Payment Services where he was President.
Adam’s expertise includes pricing, interchange compliance, transaction delivery systems, chargeback and risk mitigation, PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance, point of sales equipment, customer and sales support call center management, residual reporting systems, merchant service contracts, and supply management.
Adam is the Founder and President of Electronic Payment Consulting, a consulting firm that helps businesses minimize their merchant credit card processing expenses, usually without the need to change processing companies. He is also the managing director of Strategic Cost Reduction, www.strategiccostreduction.com, a firm dedicated to helping businesses add profitability through cost reductions and recoveries in a broad range of expense categories.
